Born in Adelaide in 1966 Greg Bartlett began his jewellery apprenticeship in 1982. Under the supervision of two of Adelaide's finest and respected goldsmiths, Greg not only honed his skills but embraced the ethics that would later form long term relationships with his current clients.

Having the opportunity to make pieces for both the public and the jewellery industry enabled Greg to grasp an incredible cross section of what people liked and wanted. Attracting high end jewellers from Australia and around the world, this workplace provided him with an unlimited source of skills and techniques used by some incredible craftsmen.

"It wasn't unusual for us to be working on pieces for stars like Liberace or Kenny Rogers or to be manufacturing a consignment destined for the Middle East".

One year after completing his apprenticeship and with two of his colleagues he co–formed Diamondtech which became a 16 year partnership that won the 1990 Goldsmiths Guild of South Australia and 1997 Jewel of Adelaide Awards.

Today Greg and partner Chantell'e continue providing their customers with the same high level of care and expertise that over 30 years of experience can deliver. They manufacture and retail jewellery at their store in Lockleys.

"Now is the one of the most incredible times that we have experienced in the industry. People, particularly men, are embracing the idea of creating wonderful, original pieces from an array of materials like titanium, enamel and even wood. We are starting to defy convention and thinking more about 'enjoying' custom made jewellery rather than just wearing it".
